I had a shop do it, but the guy who just removed the regular x5M rails and put my old ones on his car is sunnyj, he had some pics and info and could probably walk you through it. I paid $550 to just get the deleted and have it all done, so was worth it to me. The dealership's body shop did it.

Yea I saw SunnyJ's post, but I dont have time nor space to tackle that yet. I think I would have a body shop (?) handle that for me.
Did you have to get the strips or whatever it is that replaces the holes?
