BMW would not delay production of all the other cars made at the Leipzig Plant. i3, i8, 2er, 3er coupe, 2er four doors, and the small active tourer are all built there.
Matter of fact there might be less M2 Competitions produced than 16-18 M2’s. Would be interesting to see what the numbers are at the end.

I doubt it. M2 production ramped up slow. Now that they have already ramped up N55 M2 production it's likely they will come out at a faster rate than they did in 2016 and 2017. I don't have the numbers on hand but they probably produced more MY18 M2s than MY17 M2s. So a two year run of M2C will probably be as many or more cars than total N55 M2s. MY16 run was short.
