Seems pretty lofty claims from a plug in module. I'm also curious who's X5M they're talking about with a built engine reaching past 850hp. I found this while trying to search for a urbo timer since I've never heard of one used in our application but I know their benefit from past cars, so I'm going to go search for that now :-) |
i bought this from VAC and ran it for about a year. yep just like you said, it bypasses a few connections and tricks out the ecu. the time involved is because the connectors to jump/bypass are in the most annoying places. i took mine off and will probably sell in the next month or two, probably list on ebay and on the for-sale thread.
it had noticeable gains as the pulls were harder but i have no dynos to offer the difference from stock.
