I have mostly owned Ford trucks, but had a rental Silverado and it was great. Currently have a 2016 F-150 5.0l nearing 200k miles. Probably will be looking to upgrade to a F-250 7.3 gasser in the near future for the towing and payload increase. Towing with a half ton through the TN/Carolina mountains has been sketchy at times.

100% not buying new. I have not and will never buy a new vehicle. At a minimum it will be 2-3 years old.
