VINTAGE BMW FLASHBACK...
Been sitting on some old E36M3 parts in my attic and started to go through them. I stumbled across some 2013 pix of my 98E36M3 coupe that I sold in 2014 with about ~80k miles. I bought it with 17k miles in 2004. The previous owner did a eruo delivery and kept it in Belguim working for some time so it was euro dot spec'd to be compliant (headlights, taillights, class III alarm, etc.). I went enthusiast excessive and installed every OEM retrofit kit and rare OEM part I could get my hands on from bmw.
A couple notable items: GT2 Spoiler full kit, LTW splitters, OEM PDC, OEM Power Rear Vent Windows, OEM Nappa leather center console trim and glovebox, OEM Euro-Spec Steering Wheel (custom wrap), Custom nappa F&R door panels, OEM Headlight Aiming, Euro-Only 323ti M-Paket Gauge Cluster, OEM chrome door handles, and more. You'll also notice the Dinan Exhaust, TCK Coilover setup, and custom xenon euro headlights. Those are LM replica wheels, but I had the OEM LTW's as well. You'll notice on the GT2 wing there is a imprint on the right side for the oem certification sticker. I had it, but I never installed as I didn't want to degrade it. I passed it on to the new owner....yes...obsessive. I've calmed down since then (of course, budget has a lot to do with it)…
In hindsight (as always the case), I was crazy to let her go. Sadly, within a year of sale, the new owner reported that someone crossed four lanes of highway to make an exit and tookout the front end. Not sure what happened afterwards.
I hope you enjoy the pix:
