PDC issue with BMW
I encountered the same problem and found the best advice online that helped with identifying and fixing the issue. When you use the Bimmerlink it will pinpoint the exact sensor that has short circuited. Most times you need to replace that sensor because it has gone bad. I am not sure why they go bad but it could be anything ranging from water seepage into the wiring that causes the short circuiting.
