I purchased the diffuser from
cnautofans and they are made to order. It took about a week to manufacture and I requested a 2x2 weave instead of the 1x1 they advertise so that it matches the finish of the OEM front lip. They did so at no additional cost and sent me photos before they shipped off at my request. Not bad for overseas service!
Here are some detailed pics of the diffuser. The core is fiberglass (not what I initially thought) and the outside finish is decent, but there are some quirks that you see up close compared to an OEM product. The fit is spot on and requires adhesive and bolts for the underside.
