Oh... I tried to buy a '10 X5M MCB, my dream, 60k miles for $34,995 yesterday. Well it was at an uppity Lexus dealership that doesn't do much dealing with used cars. They said due to the airbag recall, they couldn't sell my car legally and it would have to go to auction. They tried to offer me $11k  I said, alright well I'm pretty certain that M outside being one year newer than mine needs airbags too. So good luck with with all that. They couldn't even look into it being that the car came from Canada. You'd think they'd have done a little more research before having it on the lot for 32 days  |

Too bad the upgrade didn't work out. Strange they didn't know whether the X5M needed an airbag recall, they could easily run a Carfax/Autocheck. Actually, do those services work with Canadian cars, I don't know...
