After reading this thread and have asked back in March, while completing the injectors' recall, for a drive shaft check with the traditional response 'no recall and everything is good'; I finally called in the shop and the truck is in this Friday.
There's a subtle rumbling I wrongly blamed on the tires but, didn't want to risk it anymore.
Is BMW really waiting for owners' call when the recall is out? Agree with gambling approach.
