Removing the center plastic pipe housing is the easiest way, I did it once with a small bit taped to fit snug in the end of a wrench, but it took ages. Good to get better silicone hoses and better clamps on those boost lines as well I think.
Oh, and you dont have to remove the diverter valves, just unplug the connectors and hoses.
