thanks man. ill pull the passenger side as I haven't seen a malfunction indicator for the right side yet. see what's going on in there and report back. does this coding take place remotely or would I need to bring my vehicle somewhere to have the LCI coding?

The coding can be done remotely. The guy who does mine just had me install teamviewer. You will need to buy a Dcan cable off amazon or eBay though.

Before you go through all the trouble though, maybe try swapping the resistors from left to right as well?
