Rebuild is underway. Had to go 1size thicker on main bearing cap 1. Went with a violet cap as it got us in range better. Used both the dial bore gauge and plastigauge brand name (red). Crank is in , main caps in, 3 sets of bolts in and torqued and stretched. Always missing pieces need to order.
I have the new oil pump but forgot to order the 3 o rings for the oil tubes (large and skinny). Got those flying in from FCP auto.
Prob won't continue again til weekend after next. More images to follow
