I get the ///M tax and "if you wanna play..." stuff, just sincerely shocked at how much it costs to fill a single differential.

I've run royal purple or redline in my other BMWs without issue, though they were always manual and only one other was an ///M. Since the X5M has the automatic I used OE fluid in the tranny. This torque vectoring monstrosity uses more fluid than other diffs and the oil is super expensive also. I was thinking $150 max to swap fluid...didn't expect the diff fluid to cost more than the tranny fluid.
