Dependable vehicles, great ride and handling (sport/20") some will have more issues than others but nothing that stands out as a big problem.
If you need absolute dependability then as you know BMW has its issues but you lose driving dynamics.
I did drive a ~17 X5 loaner and it did not feel as nice as <2012. I really suspect BMW is slowly making their cars "softer" driving. So if you can try a 2012 or older vs 2013 up.
