He won his championships by being in the fastest car and leading from the front. It's different now. It's become clear that he's not the guy who can take a team to that next level. He still can put down a hot lap second to none (well maybe one). But his skills in traffic were never exemplary, and now he's in traffic more and the mistakes are piling up.
