Went with the Mercon since Shell makes the fluid for Ford and VF, both are Shell M-1375.4, with the same specs, and made at the same factory in Houston (so the internet tells me). That is good enough for me!

Thanks for the info. That also clears it for me. Where is the best place to get Mercon from? I have found it in my local AdvancedAutoParts
