BMW factories (certainly ones in the EU) operate to ISO 8601 week numbers. Week 1 is the first week of the calendar year to have a Thursday in it, and weeks start on a Monday. ISO week 10 in 2011 is week commencing Monday 7th March.
Your dealer must be confused or using a different week referencing system to what BMW operates to.
