Have only changed my oil once so far but I used Liqui Moly Ceratec for an additive. Not sure if BMW specifically recommends it but it certainly doesn't hurt. Anything that will reduce friction and as a result temperatures is beneficial. Didn't know about the MoS2 but if it does the same thing as the Ceratec it seems more cost effective.
