And to sum it all up:
The OEM Hitch is excellent and BMW did a great job cutting the bumper to accommodate that excellent hitch.
The Execuhitch/Invisihitch is a better hitch if you do not want to cut the bumper and still want to tow 6000lbs.
Both products are used as OEM Hitches by BMW.
