Yea mine currently doesn't work to lock or unlock. I assumed this was a safety or theft feature but maybe you are right. I was thinking that maybe they would have CA disabled on this handle because it would difficult to see someone try to enter your car on that side if you were close to the vehicle, but I think I just made that up in my mind. I'll be sure to come back to this thread for the solution.
