That was some nonsense for sure. I live around the area and drive that route often. Rarely have people try to race me in San Diego luckily. Mostly get to drive around unbothered. Ultimately, as mentioned above, you need to bow out of the measuring contest and let the other car race by. No room for it, especially in traffic.
