i have polarized non-mirrored prescription sunglasses (whatever standard smoke grey polarized glass Lenscrafters uses). The HUD disappears COMPLETELY if my head is perfectly vertical. If I cock my head (well past the point of comfort) to either side the HUD becomes more visible, but even at max brightness it's pretty useless.
Very disappointing since I love both the HUD and my polarized glasses (it rains even on sunny days here and the glare can be downright dangerous).
I'll probably end up getting a new pair of non-polarized glasses to keep in the car...
