Well my insurance went and did an investigation and found the dealer at fault and sided with me.
Unfortunately it also means my X5 is now totaled and they will pay me 13,980 for my car.
Not a bad offer considering the miles, I'll be getting towed back to my place here this week and start stripping parts.
