I have a 991.1 Carrera 4S 7MT coupe and can say with certainty my 2006 Z4M with the S54 gives as much and sometimes more joy and they can be had for $50k Canadian or less. Wouldn’t need to buy the convertible 911 to replace it for sure. Technical profiency, especially braking and cornering, 911 hands down. But engine, shifting and top down, as good or better!
I know we can play the value for money game all day in the car world with all kinds of different cars but yeah. Couldn’t help myself on this point.
Makes me so glad I just bit the bullet and bought my “within reach” dream cars before things went nuts. I’ll probably just try to hang on to them as cost to re-acquire or replace is just ridiculous.
