Drive from Dublin across the country stopping at Cashel and similar places-head north to Galwway and head out to the Aran islands for a day, then south to Cliffs of Moher and then ring of Kerry. Try to stay in B+B's to catch Irish flavor-its been awhile for me but there are many cool pubs along the way and if ye look a bit Irish, ya needn't buy many rounds as they'll take care of you.
