Active Autowerke just released their down pipes for the X5/X6 V8's claiming gains of 30hp. By just installing down pipes and leaving the stock muffler on should change the tone a bit deeper.
We have an X5M coming in tomorrow for a tune, springs, and possibly these downpipes.
