unlock or not it doesn't matter on the regular 3g. anyone can unlock their phone if it on the right baseband and can follow instructions so the pricing on buying a used 3g phone is the same of $150 at the low $200 at the best and $250 at the high.
when people start to sell the 3gs out of att contract expect that to have the same price 3g did when people started to sell out at around $400-$500. unlocked or not doesn't matter because if you know what unlocking an iphone is most likey they can do it themselves without the huge markup.
