Question Need Help: Stuck trying to change spark plugs - 2009 X6 35i

Hello,

I've never done this before. I'm trying to change the spark plugs on my 2009 X6 35i and i was able to partially remove my engine cover.

However, there is one hose plug that I don't know how to remove. I tried pulling them apart but it didn't really seem to budge so i don't want to break it with more force, I also tried to turn thinking it may be threaded but that didn't work as well since the hose at the bottom can only turn so much since it's fixed in place:

Then I removed the engine exhaust pipe and filter covering:

Anyhow I set that aside and then saw that only 5 of the 6 ignition coils are showing. @#!$%!&* brilliant BMW anti-DIY design as per usual. The 6th one is covered by some covering that has hoses affixed to it. I examined this plastic covering and saw one obvious screw holding it down, so I unscrewed that. But now I don't see any other screws and I don't see any of those hose tightening ring clamps to loosen or anything like that. So I'm not sure how to remove this entire contraption to get access to the 6th ignition coil:

Does anyone know how to remove this cover that has hoses affixed to it sitting above the 6th ignition coil?

Here is a photo that shows the area to the left:

Here is a photo that shows the area to the right:

I don't see any obvious places that would be candidates for detaching the hoses, they aren't attached anywhere I can see with those tightening rings like the ones for the large engine exhaust pipe.

Does anyone have experience doing this on 2009 X6 35i N54 engine or another model that had similar engine bay design?

Would greatly appreciate any help on this.

Thank you!
