What astonishing service costs are you referring to? Engine out services haven't been required since the 355 which was 25 years ago. An oil change is $450 at an indy shop once a year. Some brake fluid and filters another few hundred bucks. Yes, parts are expensive if something big breaks, but I wouldn't describe the servicing costs of any modern Ferrari as "astonishing" and even the 355 only needs the engine-out service every 5 years. There's a number of 458's out there with over 100k miles on them. If you have $20k in reserve for repairs just in case you should be fine with just about any of them. If it's a major concern, get a car under CPO warranty so you don't have to worry about the big ticket items.
