One other tuning company swapped the older m5 v10 into an x6. Can look at that too. I'd stick with the same brand as that cross wiring is gonna be crazy. Gotta shop the forums, eBay, craigslist a lot to find a replacement motor. IMO

Took me a year of searching to find a decent 2011 x6m s63 engine off of eBay/Craigslist. Then negotiated cash discount when I picked it up. The motor came out of a car in Florida that was in a rear end collision and totalled out. Motor was MINT but had 100k. I got the records on bmw and it had a lot of service at the dealer. So I drove 3 hours each way to get the motor n trans.
