I can appreciate the wide space taped off. The way those officers were harassing that guy filming was embarrassing. Even I know you can openly film in public spaces. It's sad that some Officers dont realize this. There are TONS of YT videos online of Police that dont know this simple law.
They must teach this in the Academy. At least I hope they do.

along with posters on similar formats) need a huge sample size to find that one officer/deputy who doesn't know something that they want to post. Think of it like the production of a movie or reality show. You have to obtain hours upon hours of footage to get five minutes of useable film. They have to challenge a thousand LEO's to find ten that can't meet the challenge.
What they teach in academies are bracketed concepts, but most of the learning comes from practical application and experience (…
