Wheels held up awesomely!
As Doc said, he has acquired this particular set. I think I put about 5k miles on them when I had them and loved every minute. These are also TUV rated and engineered for the weight of our vehicles. BMW has had a long relationship with BBS dating back to the 70's and these wheels match perfectly with the X5M. IMO, they should have been offered as a factory upgrade. I also don't understand the reluctance of stepping up to a 22" wheel. This BBS wheel combined with the Pirelli Scorpions actually rode better and smoother than the OEM 20s w/Bridgestone RFTs I replaced them with!
In addition, I noticed the ride quality improvement while I was also lowered on H&R 1.2s with these wheels (there was also the added benefit of less body roll and better handling characteristics) as compared to the ride quality with OEM wheels, tires and std. ride height.
I hope this helps.
