I hit my leg a few times, and dirtied a few pants but I got used to it, I don't hit my leg anymore. I don't even notice it there.
As for sitting in the driver seat, I don't know what is wrong with it but I can never adjust the steering wheel and the seat the way I like it. I want the steering wheel to sit low close to my legs but then the wheel blocks the speedometer, and turn signal indicators. No big deal I lower the seat, then the steering wheel is too high. Anyway, I got used to driving it with the steering wheel in higher position eventually.
