I have thought about getting an X5 for a while. I took a couple test drives, but the thing that gets me is how tall the drivers seat is. I find getting out my leg hits the side. The dealer indicates I should place my foot on the running board, and step down. This seems ackward to me. I don't really like he running boards anyway. So my question is for all, but more directed to those who do not have the running boards.

Whats the trick to getting out of your SAV?

Is this an issue for anyone but me?

PS. My Height 5-10, normal weight.
and Wife is 5-3.
