BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Here is a quick visual comparison I just did of both the E70 and F15 spec'ed out in M Sport trim and 20" wheels.

Official F15 X5 photos and details are at: http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=846222

Love the aggressive looking front. The rear has to grow on me. I still prefer the E70 rear.

Those side vents... Seem like they are just "there" on all the new cars... Dont quite flow.

I was never a fan of the Msport E70 to be honest and actually prefered the Sport model with the 20" wheels. Now with the F15 I really like the Msport version more than normal version. Front is more aggressive, interior much more upscale and the side profile looks better. The rear takes some getting use to but the E70 is starting to show its age especially since it wasn't that much of a change from the first gen X5.

I'm sure once we start seeing these in the flesh it will be one of the best selling X5's of all time.

The side and rear go to the E70. However, the videos seem to do the F15 justice, that's when it looks the best.

Side and back of the F15 look very appealing to me.

Head on I still see hints of a 2013 4 runner or Durango.. yet to grow on me..

E70 > F15 in terms of exterior styling. The new design just doesn't feel as cohesive as the old one. Especially the new front end styling is worse.

I prefer the e70.

Also the "performance edition" we get here looks even better than the Msport.

Was never a fan of the M sport package. Still not. Either get the upgraded 20" rims or go full M.

With the new fog lights I can finally drive through deep water on foggy nights.

On a serious note though, I like the new proportions and overall design of the F15. In my opinion the larger and more square front end design gives it a "proper off road car" feel and reminds me of a Range Rover. I am sure that the X6 will fill the void for those seeking a "very sporty sports activity vehicle."

Lets also keep in mind that most BMWs look much better in person than they do in photos, especially the F30.

I don't want to admit it but the new one does look pretty good. I say I like e70 but I know the second I pull up to a new one on the road, mines gonna look outdated. At least I got LEDs to keep it new looking new for a few extra months!

Yeah, it's a strange thing, the damn thing is starting to grow on me, the F15 that is!
The front is still not great, where the headlights connect to the kidneys, doesn't look natural imo, really a key design gone wrong imo.
The rest makes the E70 look dated, the ass in particular looks old now!
Can't wait to see it in RL.

Didn't the e70 m sport come with 20s std?
I guess by offering 19" all seasons they are hoping for more takers in cold weather regions.

^^I've seen the E70 Msport on 19"s. Wheels look hideous. Even the 20" Msport wheels don't look all that great. Best ones on the E70 were the 20" sports package ones on the X5 5.0
