I think it looks okay.....

But I really had to say that the rear reminds me of Lexus IS350.....

This is a great move by BMW. I hope they make it available with a high torque diesel ala Touareg V10 TDI

Great, a CLS SUV. Another car where function follows form. I bet the backseat is even more useless. Neat looking vehicle otherwise.. Stay at home moms and 30-something middle management single men will love!

Maybe there is an invisible gurney bubble for the rear passengers that I am not seeing?

quite a few of the CS styling details are present arent they? The shape of the rear lights, the way the c-pillar flows into the bootlid and the large air intakes at the front.

take a look again...

you won't hate it...

and another look.

you'll start to like it..

and after a few more looks..

it will be your dream car...

I find it really interesting that BMW recent designs doesn't make you feel good at the first sight. They are beautiful cars indeed, but you have get familiar with the styling...

Its not like a maserati grandturismo, it isn't love at first sight

I think they will take these rear lights for 2013 model (in April or October 2012).

For a second, I too thought this thread was the facelifted version and I thought, "they went with the originally concept version, side mirrors and zero pillars and all!"

(wrings a fist at the person who intially bumped this four year old thread) Had my hopes up!
