Just picked up my new X5 M.. haven't gotten a chance to really drive her yet but very very happy and satisfied! Now i really am ready to let go of my M3.

i have a 2009 m3 coupe aw/black dct that i can part with now that i have my x5 M
I was about to pickup an M5 2 days ago but i rather have an x5m AWD because we do need it sometime and the sakhir orange was not as bright as i had hope

Congrats man, nice color and nice 300M wheels - and LED lights ftw! I know what you mean about the Sakhir, I was all over it from photos on the M5's and M6's, then saw it in person and was underwhelmed and disappointed. I also am not a fan of the San Marino Blue on the M6, either; at least you can get the M5 in MCB. The Melbourne Red and Monte Carlo Blue on the current X5M and X6M are two of my favorite BMW colors!

yes i agree about the colors.. it was between monte carlo blue with platinum interior or this melbourne red.. 2 colors you see an X5 and know right away that it has to be an ///M
Can't wait to get it tuned! any suggestions..

Oh haha yeah I remember. Congratulations! How far under sticker did they sell it to you for? I'd have a hard time turning down an M5, but they didn't qualify for all the "incentives"

From $98k I got down to $91k
Not bad
M5 I sweet but looks exactly like 535i M tech...hood and body line is almost identical...didnt show much muscle but inside and drives totally sweet!

Nice. Irvine BMW is selling a blue x5m demo for $98k. It has 3000 miles, over $500 in paint repairs, and its been stolen. They've had it for soooo long and they wouldn't go below $94k when we put an offer on it. Still there if anyone is looking for one hell of a bad deal and I know what you mean with the M5, most people who don't know BMW wouldn't be able to tell it apart from an M sport. Bet it drives amazing though.
