Hello everyone. I recently replaced my accessory rear entertainment kit because I was having an issue with one monitor not turning off unless there was a DVD installed in it. I dealt with it for a while, then ultimately replaced the entire system since not many parts are available separately for this kit. While removing the kit, I found a broken wire in one of the connectors but it was too late to return the new kit. So I replaced every part of the kit and I'd like to try to recoup a little cash if I can on the old kit. The broken wire is shown, and can easily be connected using simple split connectors outside of the relatively cheap existing connector. It's not a shielded wire, so a simple fix would work very well. I did test that prior to removal. I wish I had found this prior to investing in a new kit. The kit was in my E70 that is equipped with sport seats, if that makes a difference. See the pictures below and let me know if you have any questions. I would be happy to send out any other information that is required. Feel free to PM or email directly- trdfan13@yahoo.com. If you want the kit right away, my PayPal info is the same as my email and in most cases the kit will ship the same day as payment is received. I don't know what the value of this kit used is, but the kit does retail for $1495. That puts the typical dealer cost around $1200, so I'm asking (reduced) $450 OBO including shipping and PayPal fees. Thanks in advance to those interested! ![]() Bryan Last edited by Bmw135er; 02-25-2013 at 02:40 PM. |

PMs replied. The broken wire is in a connector that can be bypassed on both sides, not at a module or monitor to clarify that. Let me know if there are any other questions. I'm motivated to sell these quickly!

I don't have any of my personal car with them installed, but I will try to post one tomorrow even though I have a very busy day ahead of me. It's the BMW accessory kit the mounts to the upper part of the seat back. It comes with the remote and headphones as well, as you can see in the pictures.

Accepting reasonable offers, lets find these a new home! This setup is way better than the factory setup IMO. You don't loose the armrest space or crack your funny bone on these bad boys.

Thanks for the bump. I do most of my posting from the app. I'll try to snap a few pictures when I get the chance (newborn takes all my free time).
Here's a link to what the kit looks like installed. Thanks google! http://cdn100.iofferphoto.com/img3/item/516/362/151/W0lcbmw-e70-x5-10-07-and-on-rear-entertainment-system-with.jpg |

These are mounted to the back of the seat and the comfort seat covers are different. It may be something you can make work, but I couldn't tell you for sure. The seat back shape may be a little different which is the compatibility issue BMW claims.
Let me know if I can answer anything specific for you. Thanks for the interest. |
