Vorsteiner CF Front Lip - XBimmers.com

I was considering purchasing the Vorsteiner CF front lip for my 2012 X6M and was curious to know from someone who has it installed if it's so low that you end up running it into parking blocks, etc.? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have the V CF Lip on my '12 X6///M along with the Dinan suspension which lowers the car a modest .75 inches. I have had zero issues running into curbs, etc. If you're keeping the drop on your car as per stock, then you'd have even less concern. I am still very aware whike parking and how close I get to curbs. I really rely on the park distance control equipment for additional peace of mind. You'll love the look of the new CF lip! Highly recommend getting the rear diffuser, too as it looks awesome --- REALLY AWESOME!

Thanks for your opinion. I think I'll definitely pull the trigger on the lip and rear diffuser.

By the way, you like the dinan suspension?

Yes - love the look and great feel (more sporty without ride compromise). I think it's perfect for our cars. Also got the Dinan exhaust and software. Recommend getting all three.

I have the dinan tune and exhaust, just wasn't sure on the suspension. But, I like the idea of retaining the factory ride since it's my daily driver. And while 3/4 of an inch isn't much, I think it's aggressive enough for what I use the beast for.

with stock height set up there is 7 1/2" of clearance in the front, ground to bottom of lip.
