I got bored with my X5M and decided it needed a makeover. Heres what happened.

My eyes, my EYES!! Oh the pain! Other than being obnoxiousness I can't see a SINGLE reason for doing that to a X5. The only term that comes to mind is... horrific

I had some chrome material sitting around and decided it would be good marketing for my company. I thought it would look terrible but i think it came out really well

Looks really, really, reeeeallly ghetto dude. Good taste in cars according to your sig, and I get the marketing appeal. Stupid people are attracted to flashy things afterall and a fool and his money are soon parted, so this should drive some easy business your way.

No disrespect btw, I do believe in "to each their own" but I also believe in "just because you can doesn't mean you should."

Actually this chrome stuff looks really good in person. I saw a Jaguar coupe all dressed in chrome like this near my neighborhood and it was really nice looking. Definitely not ghetto. And definitely a head turner.

There's also a YouTube video of a chrome X6M floating around somewhere, that looked pretty badass as well.

I don't know if it's the pictures, but the black wheels look like dark pits. I'd say, what about powder coating the wheels silver (not chrome!) to keep in line with the new look?

Not my taste but definitely interesting. Almost doesn't look real. Like if you tilt shift the photo it would look like a matchbox car

OK, that makes more sense but if your gonna go THAT direction, why not go all the way with some blingy 24" chrome shoes for the brightest bling possible? I think I KNOW why you had some of the chrome 'laying around'. It's probably hard to get a customer for it but since it's advertising, it makes the materials a write off instead of a total loss so I can see using it this way (contrary to my prior post).

No, not referring to Bieber - was thinking the OP's chrome was done in photoshop, but I guess a vinyl wrap makes sense too. No way I'd drive it, but if he likes it, that's all that matters.

its gonna come off pretty soon, its gonna be another chrome color for certain cross-country rally's this summer tho. I'll prolly go matte black/gray/white for a while after, the carbon black metallic annoys me because i can never decide whether its black or blue lol.

yeah man a matte gray or white wrap would be sick, they would both contrast well with your wheels
