Headlight Color - One is pink/rose - XBimmers.com

I have a 2009 X-6 and all of a sudden the drivers headlight is a pink/rose color. I have had Weisslight and currently Lux lights. I removed both of the Lux lights and installed the factory lights and still pink/rose color. I scheduled a appointment with the dealer for next week, but was wondering if anyone else has had this experience. My concern is the dealer knows I have aftermarket bulbs as they all comment on how nice they look and they are going to say that caused the failure. Thanks for the help !

Is this just when the Angel eyes are on or only when the headlights are on??

I would say one of the xenon's is on the fritz.

Sorry to state the obvious but it sounds like the dealer will be able to sort it!

it is the xenon. my friend's escalade had pink/rose on one side. replaced the bulb(xenon) and all good now.

You were exactly right....I don't know what I was thinking. The LUX Lights are used for the angel eyes, there is another bulb used for the headlights and that was bad.
