Does anyone know how many phone contacts you can store with the new Office App?

I have the App Package in my X6 on order. I have 3,000+ contacts and am frustrated when they don't download all.

Also, will these save to the car hard drive to prevent the annoying sync at start up?

Hilarious...

I'd like that many "friends", but I do have that many industry contacts.

A real problem if car does not store as I have to take phone out of cradle to dial....

Interested if someone knows if Office helps this, I know I'm not alone.

I'd like that many friends too, unfortunately 79 Facebook friends translates into 2 relatives that call, my wife, a dog that somehow got Internet access, a guy I met a camp (age 11....now 39), 2 stalkers from back when I was famous, and 71 people that don't realize I was home schooled and are claiming they went to high school with me.

Now, seriously, as long as we are trying to resolve the 3000 contact issue.....hypothetically I might know a guy that has a similar contact issue who would would also like to know if anyone knows how to speed up the process which uploads the contacts from your phone to the car screen. This guy seems to have to wait forever before they are uploaded and he can use the I drive. Thanks!

I don't know how many contacts I have on my iPhone - maybe 250? I do know that it takes about 2 minutes to fully sync them to the car before you can use them. What is REALLY frustrating, is they show and you can select them, but just when you are about to hit dial (or do this with voice commands), the list disappears as it is updated. THEN it happens again. Very annoying, but I don't see a way around this. Maybe IOS 6?

I wish this would go Droid-- I know-- I am not contributing to the solution, but the tech at BMW Assist said the Droid version was released within the past week.. I still don't see it, and hence BMW Apps not that great for me.
