All I can say is..."what the hell is BMW thinking with this ugly-as$ (and from the looks of the interior, non-functional and cramped) thing?" I hope for BMW's sake they make some major changes for the final product.

It's all disguised. It's difficult to tell what it really looks like under those fake panels and covers.

What would be the purpose of an X6? I would see this as very similar to the X5 in principle--is it just supposed to be more luxurious?

I preferred when BMW only had a few models (3, 5, 6, 7, X3, X5, Z)----now they are adding 1-series, CS concept (8 series???) and this X6. Damn, they are tuning into a Ford/GM/MB

...rumors from the people i spoke with is that it'll be slightly smaller than X5 and tuned to be more sporty than X5....

yeah you cant tell much yet because of all the camo and tape. it would be sweet if it gets the rumored twin turbo v8.

the only clear thing from this photo is the guy filling up the gas is wearing nasty capris. bmw should have a dress code haha.

hmm, for some reason I thought it was coming in 2009. So, it will be produced in SC, then no European Delivery on it

I think its supposed to go after that "Cross-over" market. I saw a pic somewhere of a cross-over 3 series too.

All X cars will eventually be moved to SC..while all other models will be produced in Germany...so no euro delivery for any future X afterwards.....

I see, oh well, too bad. It would have been fun to test the X5 or X6 on the twisted roads in Europe
