Need help with non working front suspension system

I just replaced the back suspension air bags , and then the front left air suspension bag needed to be replaced. Did that, but now the front air compressor won't turn on. Any suggestions on what to check?

The adaptive drive (which sounds like you have) has to be reset and the height adjustment calibration set again so the the X5 sits level on all four corners. Usually the dealer will let the X5 sit for 24hr on a level concrete pad and then check the height on each corner of the car.

I would say you need to take it to a dealer, also don't you mean replace front air shock absorber not airbag, airbags(replaces spring) are only on the rear with level ride.

If you don't have adaptive drive the computer still has to be reprogramed as you have changed a part which has to be imported into the program, its a BMW thing to stop home mechanics playing with there car.

Everytime a major part is replaced the x5 has to be reprogramed
