With the dark headliner on the X6, the sunroof (coupled with my lighter colored seats) lets in enough light to not make the inside of the X6 feel like a coffin. I do however close it on hot days and can't imagine a car without it. Ohhh, actually I do own one without a sunroof and it is the one thing I can't stand about it.
Pretty cool that BMW lets you choose at least!

Hi All
Been reading the posts......ordered my Carbon Black X6 M50d on 10/02/2012 and at last delivery this saturday 1st September.....cant wait!!!! I will update when I get it and if I can work out how to add sum pics I will.....not much sleep until then...  |

X6 M50d
Hi All
Pick up went smooth as silk and the M50d is safe at home. Done about 120 miles in it so far and I have to say it is such fun to drive.It has great torque and the engine sound inside the cabin is great.It is even louder than the V8 4.2FSI Audi Q7 I owned a few years ago. I have taken pics but not sure how to upload them here.(I think I have to have more posts first) Carbon Black is a beutiful colour. I will keep trying with the pics |

Looking forward to seeing them, im also in the UK but as yet havent seen an M50d, i registered for the info many moons ago but havent ever received it
 Not that i can afford one yet, just wanted to see the M door sills, bonnet etc. |

Congratulations! I'm also interested to see your car and thoughts on first impressions. The car is very rare at this early stage of its life cycle. I spotted one at the dealer a couple of weeks ago in CB with every single option on the list, it was sold by the time I viewed it(within a couple of days of coming into stock)which was disappointing especially as there was a substantial saving on list price and the car only had 300 miles on the clock!
