LUX V3 Angel Eyes and JL Stealthbox for sale
As the title suggests, I have a set of LUX H8 V3 Angel Eyes and a JL Audio StealthBox up for sale. I'm turning in my X5M after only 8 months of ownership, so these items need to go. The angel eyes function perfectly. They do have some scuffs and scratches on the heatsinks due to installation and removal with channel lock pliers. You will not be disappointed. Asking $150 shipped. ![]() The JL Audio Stealthbox houses a 10w3 subwoofer underneath the rear hatch for a completely hidden setup. Refer to the official website http://www.jlaudio.com/car-audio-ste...w-x5-e70-07-up for full details. It DOES NOT include a amp. I paid retail for the StealthBox late last year, so I'm asking $350 shipped. The unit looks and performs like new. ![]() ![]() I don't have enough posts to PM, so please email me at JDougPharmD(at)gmail(dot)com or reply to this thread. |

Does that stealth box replace the spare tire or does it work with it? Also, how did you hook it up to the factory system? What size (wattage) amp did you use? Where did you mount it? Also, were there any adapters used. I'm interested but I just need some more info. Thx

I did not have the spare tire option, but the box is designed to fit with the spare tire in place. The stealthbox will need to be integrated into the stock system just as any other sub/amp combination (power/ground/remote will need to be run.) I would suggest a car audio shop for the install as it is not plug-and-play. I used a 500 watt JL Audio amp which powered the sub beautifully. My amp was mounted inside the spare tire well, making for a completely disguised install. Not sure what you mean by adapters, but nothing of the sort was used in my setup.

I'll take the stealth box but would need to know shipping cost to Edmonton, Alberta Canada (Postal code T5S 1J9). If it's reasonable, done deal. If you can send me shipping dimensions and zip code it'd ship from, I can look into this also.
Thank you. |
