2015 CIC Navigation map update:

2015 Navigation map update for CIC headunit

We are proud to announce to the community that we are offering 2015-1 North America CIC Navigation Map update. The 2015 map updates the new roads, named places(Points of Interest), addresses, as well as offers more of an array of 3D graphics for many areas. Road networks changes fast yearly and to get the most out of your navigation system you have to update the maps to effect these changes. Think of how much has changed over the years if have never updated your map database!

We have a direct download link for the update. The map update on the CIC headunit requires an FSC activation code that we can obtain for you. All that is required from you is to provide the last seven digits of your VIN # and we can get you on your way to this update. Just look at the bottom of the chart to see if your main menu of the navigation screen..If you have the second picture which is CIC and the third picture is NBT.. Really easy to determine which headunit you have!

If you have any questions please PM me or email me at Baccus199@gmail.com

If I have a 2011 X5, can we update to the CIC-HIGH maps?

I think it's just the map updates.
mine is 2011 and I don't see any different in terms of software after the map updates.

Thanks. I would consider the upgrade if it made the GPS better, but as of now, my $99 Garmin Nuvi outperforms and is easier to use than my expensive BMW navigation system.

I finished my upgrade this weekend and I am very pleased. The instructions and communications with Baccus was excellent. I needed help and he called me right away and pinpointed my problem. Contrary to his instructions I had not used a 32GB USB memory stick, but a larger USB storage device and it did not work. Once I got it right I had no problem. Excellent service, highly recommended.

I did it on mine.. I just wish it wasnt split into 3 8gb chunks instead of one large chunk, especially since the instruction says to get a 32gb stick
