Good qualy. Rosberg put in a great lap, but it came out that Hamilton had more of a race setup as a result of his pending gearbox penalty. Nice to see Sauber up there. Should be a great race!

On Vettel, he had balance issues with that car. I wouldn't necessarily call them out for the race though. RBR has great engineers and an even better pit crew. I wouldn't be surprised if either Webber or Vettel get a podium, and this is coming from a massive Hamilton fan. Hopefully though, Hamilton can claim his first win. He will have to work for it, but that seems to be the moments when Hamilton is his best.

I think shcui or button will win this one but i do expect hamitlion to place 3 or 4 pending his team doesnt screw him like they normally dp

What makes you think Button? I haven't seen anything particularly brilliant from him all weekend.

I can understand the Schum though.

Button is great with his tires, i can just see him having a really good race with a chance to win. But if lewis cant win i want schui.

Great job Nico! Easy win when Button got stuck in his pit stop and in traffic...
McLaren just love to shot themselves in the foot with pit stop, literally pit stop errors in two consecutive races...cost Button the opportunity to challenge nico...

solid job from Seb coming from behind and secure a P5, and Webber last pass on Seb might probably be a frequent sight in 2012.

Sad to see Kimi got raped literally in the final laps...

But none of the above are not the best of the race...I found the best of this race was when everyone literally racing wheel to wheel and none of them crash badly to each other!!! Today was hard core racing!!!

I can say this season we will see Schumi on the podium for sure and perhaps a win!!!
The car is now capable to manage the tires in race trim, and have a definite advantage in qualifying...

thats the other car i really felt bad for, RAI fell from 2nd to 12th in less than a lap, it was horrible!!!!!!!!
3 races, 3 wins, brawn was still correct when he said the sample was not large enough to draw any conclusions...

Also the first two races cannot really makes an apple to apple comparison...Melbourne is a street circuit and Malaysia was affected by rain. Also both Mercedes were either got crashed into during first few laps or mistakes in early stages.

No way. The only reason he couldn't defend better for P2/P3/P4 at the end was because his tires were falling off. He was just about to go to the Kimi-school-of-dropping-positions, so he had to drive smart.

You never know, a less dominant car might put Vettel in a place to use alternative strategy in attempt to win, depends on fuel usage and tires...
Still got 17 races to go, Red bull to play a bit catch up since 2009...

for now seems like Webber is able to adapt to the RB8 a bit better than Seb...
