This is for my 40th Birthday! The wait is now on for my production #

When did you order? I will get my X6 in May. I'm not sure about NC but if you live in NJ, DE and PA you cannot get X6 until August or November.

Thanks to all for the congrats. I just ordered yesterday on April 4. My CA told me mid-late May for the build. I already told myself June so that I'm not disappointed. My birthday is in the summer, the closer to the date, the more it will feel like a real bday present.

Thanks Doubleroll! That was sweet of you to plan that for your wife on her birthday. My hubby told me about time, I made up my mind and ordered it. I think he was sick of me obsessing over the X6! I've only been talking nonstop about the X6 for 2 years.

Southernbelle, awesome new X6 options. In March I ordered a 2013 X6 35i, Midnight blue with Ivory interior. I am expecting an end of April build schedule, mid-May delivery and will go to SC to pick up. Curiously, the Dealer seems to think he can have it up here faster than I can get into the Performance Center Schedule, but will have already waited 10 weeks by mid May. What is another week or two of torture. Nothing better than a road trip to look forward to after pickup!

If you see a Midnight Blue X6 35i on I-40 after next month...it's me!
We drove across NC on I-40 round trip two weekends in a row and saw only one x6 (50i in black near Winston-Salem)

That would be something to have PCD at the same time! We'll have to keep in touch once we get actual dates. I rarely see X6s on the road. My hubby and I travel alot. Whenever we're out of town, we keep a tally of how many X6s we see. Miami leads the pack, followed by LA! I'll definitely watch out for you.

I have been told by my CA that my X6 will be a week 18 build. Last day of April/first week in May. It will be mid to late May for delivery. The latter for a PCD in SC. I will keep you posted!

Why is this? Is this even true?

I live in NJ and ordered my x6 3.5 deep blue sea like 3 weeks ago and got told it would be here at the end of may... im guessing more like june.
