But most people report back that the X6 is in short supply and $2,500-$3K is norm for the 2013s(my dealer had to trade an order slot with another dealer last year). I also disagree with das144 that the dealer will always try to get the most $ from you. Yes, there are plenty of bad ones out there and yes, MOST will mark up the money factor, but each and everyone I have ever dealt with has never marked it up the lease by $300,$400, $500, or $600.

If you are going to do PDC or heck, don't even want to deal with your dealer, give Brett a call.

edit: Current money factors and lease rates here

I questioned getting 500 over invoice because I wasn't sure when Das144 got his X5M (Das?) and it seems difficult to get such a good deal when the new models have just come out-- not best time to buy, but I am too far down the road to turn around now..

Best deal I have now is between 700 - 1700 over invoice-- or ~1000 a month lease. Contacting multiple dealers does help-- though the dealer price never matches my model.. not sure how my calcs are off once I know final price, residual % & MF

I will also check with a leasing company to see how big a discount they can offer. Finally picked up my vert post accident... love that car-- still will not part with it. Will likely place order by next week-- though still back & forth on the interior!

Thanks for the lease rates... Dealers I contacted are working with a higher Residual %.

Looks like you got a great price. Hopefully through BMWFS (they are more lenient on the return).

While the ventilated seats don't do much, I do like them as well as the color (Sand Beige) which I think would go very nice with Midnight Blue. Note I also like the darker trim (which looks like your only choice now in terms of the wood trim).

edit: Those lease rates are for 15K per year. You add 2% to the residual for 12K and an additional 1% for 10K.
edit: I see you are not getting the Sport Activity or M package. Your headliner won't be dark as you see in the picture. That will lighten up the interior a lot (and IMHO make it look even better).

So I shopped some around and price for xm6 is semi-insane. I think I'm doing something wrong.

I did a 10K lease since I am keeping the vert. Also with a new born expected in October, I don't see us doing too much car-seat driving until next year. Turns out it was $1,028 over invoice. It was the best deal i got, and I blind auctioned 6 dealerships.

I am absolutely torn on the colors. Here is my problem.
When i order the vert, I originally settled on Montego Blue-- until the unique color was Platinum (rare find in SF). I really wanted the Platinum with Saddle brown. Unfortunately I could not find 1 car with that combo in all of the Bay Area-- of course 2 weeks after ED, I see the combo on the street and I really liked it... Now, before ED, I decided that I liked Saddle so much, that I would change to Alpine white and Saddle... unfortunately... I was too late, and my build already started.. I love the Platinum and Beige. It looks classy to me.

Fast forward 4 years: I can finally get the Alpine White and Saddle! Unfortunately, the white doesn't pop to me, and the combo looks just "okay." It then looked like Vermilion Red was the winner until the 2013 colors come out and the Blue really popped.... I like Saddle, but it seems a bit much with the blue and again, I cannot see the combo (BMW Config is not that helpful with the blues) I am stuck between Saddle, Oyester, & Beige.... I have a week to decide..
